We have recently established housing benefit eligibility for security costs in our hostel. This has reduced the SP costs considerably since previously SP were funding the security cover as well as the support needed for 24 hour cover.

However we now need to compare the HB eligible costs of our own Hostel against others to establish that our HB eligible components are within an average range. This will affect the level of central government funding to cover the HB for the hostel, and how much the local authority has to pick up.

I would appreciate help in contacting other hostels who have 24 hour security cover funded through Housing Benefits. If you either contract manage a service, or are a service I would appreciate hearing from you.
